Seeds & Traits

Apply Roundup WeatherMAX® only on certified Genuity™ Roundup Ready® Canola hybrids/varieties: (ie: canola seed containing the Roundup Ready gene). Canola which is not designated as Roundup Ready will be damaged or destroyed by this treatment.

Application Rate
For broad spectrum weed control, use 0.33 L/acre Roundup WeatherMAX herbicide in 5 - 10 GPA water volume. No surfactant or additives are required. For additional weed control options, see product label.

Application Timing
Spray when canola is at 0 - 6 leaf stage. To maximize yield potential, spray canola early to eliminate competing weeds. Short-term yellowing may occur with later applications, with little effect on crop growth, maturity or yield.

Sequential Applications
You can make two (2) applications of Roundup WeatherMAX at 0.33 L/acre any time up to the 6-leaf stage of canola (pre-bolting). Producers should wait a minimum of 10 days between applications to see if a second application is required. Two applications of Roundup WeatherMAX are beneficial for:

  • Control of late flushes of annual weeds such as green foxtail, cleavers, and wild mustard.
  • Providing "season-long" control of Canada thistle and perennial sow thistle.

One Time Only Application
A rate of 0.5L/acre can be used to control more mature tough to control weeds. A second application should not be applied if you are using this rate.

Re-Cropping
There are no cropping restrictions.
